MH: And maybe, hopefully, we’ll see you on the road?

DA: We’ll definitely be on the road as soon as possible…as soon as COVID is under control. A lot
of bands are hoping to get on the road next year. Some bands are going to be on the road this
year, apparently. I think for us, we won’t be doing anything till next year.
MH: And for our readers again, the current band lineup is Glenn Hughes on vocals and bass,
yourself, Doug Aldrich, on guitar, David Lowy, also on guitar, and Deen Castronovo on
drums. The band has been together for several years now and has had several other stellar
musicians along the way. How did the band come about?

DA: It started off with David Lowy just writing some songs with a friend of his called John Stevens.
And then they wrote a song with Slash and then with some other people, and eventually, John
Stevens said, ‘Let’s get a band together!’ and David played guitar. I think the first permanent member
was Richard Fortes from Guns N’ Roses. And I say ‘permanent,’ meaning they were trying to make
a solid foundation over the last few years. It’s been pretty stable. When Richard Fortes went back
on the road with Guns N’ Roses, they asked me to join the band and make a record, called ‘Make
Some Noise.’ So, that’s where I started with the band.
