In 2020, Julian Comeau started a TikTok account with the tagline, “What if it was pop-
punk?” Comeau asked the TikTok community to request songs they wanted to hear
him cover in the style of pop-punk. Julian sang renditions of hits like “About Damn
Time” by Lizzo, “Middle of the Night” by Elle Duhey, and “Happier Than Ever” by Billie
Eilish.
Comeau quickly amassed more than two million followers in a matter of months. Over
the next year, he started sharing music created with Dylan Tirapelli-Jamail. Julian and
Dylan met in 2019 while part of another band, leaving to form their band called
“Loveless.”
