“So, the last time we were in Massachusetts
we played at a club in Fall River. We asked
for three microphones and the guy doing the
stage was like, ‘Nah, man we don’t have
three,’” Green said before the band started
playing the song Sans Soleil (translation:
without sun). The way Pettit, MacNeil, and
Green harmonized was nothing short of
angelic.

Alexisonfire closed with the song This Could
Be Anywhere In the World before doing a two-
song encore. Though Green wrote Sans
Soleil about a darker time in his life when he
was “without sun,” he and his band mates lit
up Roadrunner with their music and their
energy.
