There are some, but not many, music artists that
sound better live than on CD or vinyl.
This may sound a little odd from a fan of all types of
music, but like KISS, I was never a fan of ZZ Top. And
again, like KISS, after attending a ZZ Top concert, I
have a lot more appreciation for the band and their
music. And after hearing an hour and 30 minutes of ZZ
Top’s music catalog, starting with “Got Me Under
Pressure,” I started to get into these guys. “It’s about
time to get out of the friggin’ house,” Billy Gibbons, the
frontman for ZZ Top yelled out at the Arizona audience
when ZZ Top performed at AVA Amphitheater in
Tucson on a hot Friday night.
