AFI (A Fire Inside), started their musical journey way back in 1991
while they were attending high school in Ukiah, California. They
began their musical journey playing shows as an opening band
in their hometown. Today, they are a powerhouse group that
headlines their own tours with stops all across the U.S.

The band announced their 2022 tour dates back in mid-2021 and
the tour kicked off in February in San Diego and culminated with
this March 25 appearance in Los Angeles at the historic

Hollywood Palladium, where I was fortunate to have the
opportunity to cover their show.

Their 2022 tour was in support of their eleventh album release,
“Bodies.” “Bodies” definitely has that authentic sound that AFI is
all about; punk rock, horror/garage punk with alternative hardcore
flavor. AFI lives up to their name, as “Bodies” has a fire inside!
