Any plans for a movie or book?

We have been approached for movie music, which we are looking forward to. Lots of
music that would fit both with and without words on the new album. We can also write
movie specific music. Mick and I are finishing a book Roye started to write which will be
        done by next year.

You guys are doing this independently. How has the industry changed since your
        first record deal?

Boy how it has changed. Some for the better and some not so good. For the better, I
would say digital recording is awesome. The whole process is better than it was. Gigging
is pretty much the same. The way music is distributed is better, but the internet is a
double-edged sword. On one side, social media - being able to talk direct to our fans
worldwide is awesome. The interaction is instant and positive with great feedback. I am not
so sure about people copying the music and giving it away. Streaming is good, but there is
very little money in it for the musician, which can be detrimental long term for the music
business. Although, if you can treat streaming like radio used to be then it’s a wash. We
are very concerned with keeping the music under wraps until its release so there is a
surprise awaiting when it comes out. By doing it independently, we have total control of it.
For the single, we are working with our friend, producer, Ben Meade from Fayetteville in
Arkansas. His company, Cosmic Cowboy, will have the initial push to get out the single.
He has been responsible for a lot of behind the scenes help in getting us this far and will be
part of the team for the entire ride going forward. For the album, we will do a distribution
        deal with a major British company, Cherry Red Records and Esoteric Recordings label;
Mark Powell and Vicky Powell’s label. I think more than any company they care what
comes out, making sure the recordings and presentations are all top notch. We are also
trying to get bac our classic catalogue so we can release the albums with top notch sound,
which is really important to us.
