for Pyros embarked on a series of tours. Their live
performances were known for Farrell’s penchant
to create immersive and provocative experiences
for fans. During this period, the band also
contributed to the soundtrack of the film “The
Cable Guy,” with their song “Good God’s Urge.”
In 1996, Porno for Pyros released their second
album, “Good God’s Urge.” The album showcased
an experimental sound, incorporating elements of
electronica and world music. While the album did
not achieve the same popularity as their debut, it
was well-received by critics and demonstrated the
band’s willingness to evolve artistically.
