I wondered about the connection between Keenan and Claypool. After doing a bit of

research, I discovered that Claypool and Keenan first met at Lollapalooza in 1993.
Keenan invited Claypool over his house to meet his turkeys, which he had acquired
from an acquaintance. The two became fast friends.

Primus played a three-song set including “Too Many Puppies,” “Sgt. Baker,” and

“Follow The Fool.” Halfway through their set, on surveying The Boch Center, the
enthused fans were a sweaty mess (it was a very humid night). Fists were high in the

air and an echo of voices singing in unison filled the air.

Again, the music stopped as members of Primus returned to their seats on the

couches as spectators. Puscifer assumed their spots on stage. Mat Mitchell took his
place on guitar, as Carina Round and Maynard James Keenan took their places in the
center, flanked by Greg Edwards. Puscifer played “Galileo,” followed by “Tiny

          Monsters” and “Indigo Children.”

The second and third acts of the show continued in a similar rhythm, with the bands

taking their turns to play three to four songs before rotating out to allow the next band
to take their place on stage.

After the third rotation, all three bands took the stage together. Before the tour started,
an EP entitled “Sessanta E.P.P.P” was released, containing three new songs -- one
from each band -- with all bands contributing to the eclectic sound. While on stage

together, each band played their new song off the “E.P.P.P.” A Perfect Circle performed
“Kindred,” Puscifer played “No Angel,” and Primus, with special guest Maynard James
          Keenan, played “Pablo’s Hippos.”

To close out the show, a special rendition of the Puscifer song “Grand Canyon” was
performed, with every artist present singing and contributing musically. As the final
                                                      th
notes played, Keenan rang in his 60 surrounded by friends and fans who love him.
