                               Welcome

          How was 2024 for you?

Looking back, I am sure that you will
find many positive moments to reflect
on. And as we look forward to 2025, let
us hope it is busy and successful for
         many of us.

A couple of weeks ago I had the
opportunity to go to London on a
Tuesday and I was pleased to see that
there were plenty of tourists around.

         Hospitality in general seemed busy.
However, many of the people I have
spoken to in the industry over the last
few weeks, have seen a small decrease
         in business. Peter Backman has
identified it as the ‘squeezed middle’.

During my visit to London, I took the
         opportunity to meet Stewart Johnson,
         Sales Director of Sanremo coffee
         machines. The showroom (right) is

opposite the Victoria & Albert I want to take the opportunity to thank our
Museum. It is well-laid out with a Something’s Brewing Partners. Both BWT water
showroom and spacious training room and more and Jaguar Espresso Systems have been
too. You will read more about supportive with articles, time, and knowledge. We
Sanremo in a future edition of look forward to working with them both in 2025.

who has supplied articles and advertising too. With
As well, I also visited SOHO Coffee’s
new outlet in Westfield. This is a new this support, Something’s Brewing has become a

London, I always try to visit Kaffeine. It
