BARISTA
We are visiting Cafe Femenino, Athens to meet
our Barista George Manetas.
George was one of the first candidates to obtain
the BSA Level 1 and Level 2 Barista Skills
certificates through the Association's Greek
Training provider COTECO.
How and when did you become a
Barista George?
I started working as a barista as I needed to make a
living while studying at Computer Science at
University. I simply loved it and now I have a
successful career in it.
Which technology do you love and
which technology do you hate?
I love our espresso machine, the Victoria Arduino
White Eagle.
I don’t hate any piece of the technology we use,
as it all makes our service and quality better.
