On regaining the “ground floor“, we went into the Norwegian Lutheran Church,
erected there in 1913, and saw the charming Xmas decorations. Since there are more
folks living in South Georgia now, we are sure the church will be ringing with songs,
toasts and prayers both tomorrow on the one-hundredth anniversary of its founding
and on the twenty-fifth for Christmas.
