On the second weekend, I joined the Faith Baptist Church on the outskirts of
Anchorage. It was a very small church that had no building, but they met in a cellar that
was the only part built yet. The pastor was Marvin Lytle, and he didn’t have many
members to help start up a new church. I could help by playing a few of the hymns that
