mAkEUP iS An ArT form

I’m Zamashenge Buthelezi (20) from Empangeni
(Esikhawini). I’m a self-taught makeup artist
based in PMB and Empangeni. I do makeup for
weddings, photoshoots, matric dances, birthday
parties or any special occasion.

I also sell virgin human hair and provide hair
services like Weave treatments, hair dye and wig
construction.

I started my business this year after being
encouraged by my sister and my friends to start
it. Positive feedback that I received from Social
media about my makeup also encouraged me to
start my business.

My passion and love for makeup made me to
start this business. I do makeup not because it’s
rewarding but it’s such an art form that I’ve dreamt
about since I was a young girl. My goal is to own
a salon that will specialize in makeup and hair.
I’m currently planning to host Beginners Makeup
masterclasses, because I’ve received requests
from many people who need makeup lessons.
