For the real awe-inspiring fish though, you need to jump in a boat and go offshore to the reefs and wrecks. The sea-life is fantastic, and you are swimming above rays, plus moray and conger eels, while being in among the dentex, grouper and amberjacks. On the further out reefs, massive shoals of barracuda are simply awesome. I haven't seen any turtles or sunfish as yet, but they are occasional visitorslogged in the Scuba Murcia photographic album. There's no correlation with early diving memories, including "did you see the carp?"

That could mean training to become a Nitrox diver, which would allow more on-bottom time on deeper dives or how about cave diving? (Scuba Murcia hasjust become the only dive centre in Europe to offer the PADI Full Cave Diver Certification.)It sounds a bit like when I was a face worker for the National Coal Board in the soaking wet Ayrshire coal seams!!
