                 22.  Privacy


                MILCOM Institute, as a Registered Training Organisation, is required to collect various personal
                information from you as a student. We collect, protect, update, store and dispose of your personal
                information in accordance with legal requirements. You are required to read our MILCOM
                Institute Privacy Policy to be fully informed, it is available on our website www.milcom.edu.au

                 23.  Record Management

                 All records are kept in a manner that will ensure security and privacy.


                 It is a requirement of registered training organisations that data is kept in accordance with the

                 legislation.
                 Student results / Qualifications / Statements of Attainment

                 100% are to be retained for a minimum of thirty (30) years.
                 100% of outcomes must also be sent to the regulator for storage

                 Assignments per Unit of Competency
                 100% for 6 months after completion of qualification

                 Completed assessment resources
                 100% are to be retained for a minimum of seven (7) years.

                     Welfare


                 MILCOM Institute takes its responsibilities seriously in providing a safe work/study environment
                 free from discrimination, bullying, harassment (in all forms) as well as access and equity to ensure
                 all potential students have equal access.


                 If at any stage a student feels they are a victim of, or witness any unwarranted behaviour, they
                 are encouraged to speak up and report the incidence.

                 Where possible, all communications will be kept confidential however the relevant authority may
                 be contacted if applicable (police, fire, ambulance).

                 All students and staff have the right to study and work in an environment free from offensive
                 behaviour, bullying, sexual intimidation, racial vilification or any other form of harassment or
                 discrimination.
