Humber Refinery - Fuelling the Future

We have recently shared with you our new vision: “Fuelling the Future”,
clearly spelling out our commitment to our people, our community and
our customers. The Government has recently put into law a commitment
to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and we believe that Humber
Refinery has a key role in helping society achieve that goal. We make
products society needs today and will continue to need for 2050 and
beyond. Changing demands on our business present us with new
opportunities. Recent examples of us adapting our business to take
advantage of these are our entry into the Lithium Ion battery market
with our premium coke and our reprocessing of Used Cooking Oil to
make biofuels. We will continue to adapt and ensure Humber Refinery
and its people thrive for the next 50 years and beyond…

I hope you have enjoyed this book looking back at a very successful first
half century of the Humber Refinery, celebrating the achievements of all
the people who made it happen. We have great people, a great facility
and I believe we can look forward to the future with confidence.
