The enzyme lactase improves the lactose digestion. Keep in mind however that
the tolerance for lactose differs interindividually, consult your healthcare
professional about the role of this substance in the diet.

                Precaution

We should keep in mind that lactose tolerance is variable and that consumers
must seek advice on the role of dairy products in combination with lactase
                supplementation.
Diabetics must keep in mind that a normalised breakdown of lactose will lead
to more glucose absorption, when dairy products are consumed.
