Spirulina Pacifica
Product description
Spirulina is a blue-green microalgae which consists for 60% of protein, the
building blocks of our cells. The protein in spirulina contains all essential
amino acids, one of which is phenylalanine. Spirulina is rich in carotenoids
and phytonutrients (potent antioxidants), which help to protect our cells.
Besides mother milk, spirulina is one of the few natural sources containing
high concentrations of GLA (gamma linolenic acid = omega-6 fatty acid).
Spirulina is rich in minerals (e.g. iron), vitamins (especially vitamin B)
and enzymes. Spirulina can be used successfully to optimize the performances
of sportsmen. Thanks to the good digestibility and the exceptional
nutritional value, Spirulina is an excellent supplement for any of us, but
especially for vegetarians to replenish a possible vitamin B12 deficiency.
