ARTICLE 1

CONSTITUTION AND OBJECTIVES

Section 1 Mission Statement

This organization shall be known as the Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters (hereafter referred
to as the APFF) and shall be affiliated with the International Association of Fire Fighters, AFL-
CIO.

Section 2 Objectives

The objectives of this Organization shall be to cultivate a closer feeling of friendship and
fellowship among the professional fire fighters of the state of Arkansas, attain higher degrees of
skill and efficiency, promote legislation to advance the interest of professional fire fighters,
establish the right of collective bargaining for professional fire fighters of every department in the
state of Arkansas and promote fire fighter health and safety.

ARTICLE 2

ORGANIZATION NONPARTISANSHIP

Section 1 Nonpartisanship

This organization shall be nonpartisan and shall not be used for the dissemination of partisan
principles
