This restaurant’s intended market is the whole community of Lexington, Kentucky with a specific focus on individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities. Many restaurants are designed without considering the specific needs of this population, making the addition of an inclusive restaurant in Lexington a smart step forward for the city.
The goal of the restaurant will be to bring all people together and create a common place where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. The restaurant should promote a sense of togetherness and feel like an extension of home. The clients should not feel rushed or have to worry about servers having to turn tables. The restaurant should not only serve as a dining experience, but also as a gathering place.

Parea’s vision is to bring the community of Lexington together with a focus on providing a welcoming atmosphere to individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities. Parea should be a place where people can meet and enjoy their time together.
Parea’s values stem from its name. Parea is a Greek word meaning “a group of friends who gather together purely for the enjoyment of each other’s company to share experiences in life, their philosophies, values, and ideas to celebrate the simple things in life”.
