Scott’s Y story did not begin on Marco, however. He fondly recalls
earlier days at the local YMCA summer camp in his native Illinois,
but it was the Y’s mission of building a healthy spirit, mind and
body for all that inspired him to become more deeply involved.

In 2017, Scott accepted an invitation from President Jayme
Lowe and CEO Cindy Love to join the Marco Y Board. Since his
induction, Scott has focused on the core values of the YMCA and
the expansion of Y services in the East Naples area. He loves
that the Y “sets the vision and stays on the mission.”

In addition to his personal Board service, Scott continues to
contribute time, talent and treasure through his family company,
which is now a year-round sponsor of Marco Y programs.
