Please note there are various important documents and
information for you to be aware of to aid your understanding

and rights throughout the sales process. These include:

Cooling off period - Section 59 form

You have a 24 hour cooling off period from the time you sign
an agency agreement with an agent. The Section 59 form can

be provided to you if you decide to waive your cooling off
rights in order to start the marketing process of your property
immediately. However It is recommended that you retain your

cooling off rights.

Office of Fair Trading - Consumer Guide

The ‘Agency Agreements for the Sale of Residential Property’
acts as a consumer guide for vendors. It is required by law to
be given to you before you sign an agreement with an agent. It

explains agency agreements and your rights and obligations
when entering an agreement to sell a residential property.
