2. Build Understanding

To solve these problems, begin with an orthogonal line in the source figure (either horizontal or vertical will
do), and draw a line in the right general part of the provided space of the desired length – either double or
half the length of the source line.
Then fill in the other lines, working around the figure in either direction. If a line is at an angle, be sure to
make the desired scale adjustment to both the horizontal and vertical offsets.
