In the 19th century, many people played soccer in England. But
each team had different soccer rules. They had a lot of soccer
fights. So they made basic rules for soccer. It was the start
of modern soccer! Soccer became popular. In 1872, England
played soccer with Scotland. It was the first international soccer
match. Then, in 1904, FIFA was founded. The group planned an
international soccer event, the World Cup. In 1930, it held the first
World Cup! During the World Cup, everyone could enjoy soccer.
The World Cup made soccer more popular. Now, soccer is the most
