need to cross the river by riding on a small boat. However, the boat is
so small that the veterinary can only bring her cat, mouse, and cheese
one at a time. If she leaves the cat with the mouse, the cat will eat the
mouse, and if she leaves the mouse with the cheese, the mouse will eat
the cheese. How can she cross the river?
2 Julia wants to make pancakes. A pancake has 2 sides, front and back,
and it takes 2 minutes to cook one side of the pancake. If a maximum
of two pancakes can be cooked at the same time, what is the shortest
length of time that Julia can cook five pancakes?
