Natural Heritage 14

Some World Heritage sites are important for nature. We call them
Natural Heritage sites. In the Swiss Alps, Jungfrau-Aletsch is one
example. It has unique beauty. It teaches us about the building of
mountains and glaciers, too. However, some sites are not on the
heritage list for their beauty. Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is one
example. The site was full of coral reefs and sea animals. But now
they are endangered. So UNESCO named it a World Heritage site
in danger. UNESCO helps protect the site.

Tell me about it.
