Materials: Pattern Finder board, Pattern chips, Game pieces
Let’s find the incorrect part to make a correct pattern.
Pattern 1. Place the board in the middle of the table and spread the pattern chips aside.
Finder 2. Each player selects one game piece and puts it on ‘Start’ of the board.
3. Each player decides on a pattern rule and puts ten pattern chips in the crack of
the board without showing them to the other player.
4. Each player selects one chip in his/her pattern except the first and last chips and
places it aside. Then slide the rest of nine chips to the left.
5. Two players look at each other’s patterns and find the missing chip to complete
the other player’s pattern correctly.
6. The player earns 1 point who completes the pattern first. The player loses 1 point
if he/she made an incorrect pattern.
7. Play several rounds. The player who earns more points wins.
