Select the same number chips as the other player and make a number sentence
(2-digit) – (2-digit) with the greatest difference or the least difference.
Number 1. Each player takes one Create Expression activity board, one number chip set
Battle from 1 to 9, and one operation chip (−).
2. One player shuffles one number chip set face down and selects four chips. Then
the other player takes the four same number chips.
3. Each player uses the selected chips to make a number sentence (2-digit) − (2-digit)
with the least difference on the activity board
4. Compare the differences. The player who makes a number sentence with the less
difference wins.
5. Play again to make a number sentence (2-digit) − (2-digit) with the greater
difference.
