Sum of two numbers
Let’s find the sum of two numbers is even or odd.
Material: 4 Mini-calculation boards, Multiplication number chips ( , ),
2 White number chip sets (1-9), 1 Operation chip (+), Colored pencils
1 Put four mini-calculation boards side by side to make a big board,
10 rows and 10 columns.
2 Place the white number chips in the first row and in the first column in
order. Then place the operation chip (+) where the row and column are
intersecting as shown below.
3 Place the multiplication number chips face down on the board where the
white number chips in row and in column are intersecting if the sums are
even numbers.
Example
2+4=6(Even number)
3+2=5(Odd number)
