Materials: 1 Mini-calculation board, 3 White number chip sets (1-9)
Move the number chip to make the sum of two numbers that is even or odd
only. Be aware of selecting a chip because you can jump the chip several
times at a time.
Arith. 1. Place one mini-calculation board in the middle of the table. Shuffle three number chip
Match sets face down.
2. Place twenty-four number chips face down on the board except one space in the
middle of the board and place the three left over chips aside.
3. Place all the chips face up to show the numbers. Each player decides on the sum that
is even or odd number as a condition when finding the sum of two numbers.
4. Decide who will go first. In his/her turn, select one chip and move it to the empty space
by jumping one chip that is placed horizontally or vertically to the selected chip. Find
the sum of a number on the selected chip and a number on the jumped chip. If the
result is under his/her condition (even or odd), he/she succeed in making the sum.
Example Condition: Even
