What is a Desert? 02

A desert is a region with little rainfall.
It rains less than 250 millimeters per year.
A lot of water evaporates there. So its climate
is very dry. There aren’t lakes or rivers. Most of
the desert’s surface is covered with sand. There are few plants.
A desert is a very hot region. The temperature can reach more than
40°C in the daytime. But at night, it can fall to less than 0°C.

Tell me about it.
Why do deserts have dry
climate?
