Flash forward five years and I find myself graduating from Auburn University a semester early. It was the perfect
time for a thru-hike. I dedicated my hike to my friend, Kayla (Perry) Funk, who has suffered with stage 4 Neuro-
blastoma. Through my campaign, ‘Trekkin for Change’, I raised $18,015 for Pediatric Cancer Research.

Life is every bit what you make it.
