Child Care
The FDCC will have special, age-appropriate programming for teens and children during the Presidential Reception on Monday night and during the Diamonds and Denim Gala on Thursday night. Pre-registration is required. Children must be at least 3 years old and fully potty trained to participate.
Teens and children of all ages are encouraged to attend the Sunday Welcome Reception, the Tuesday Midway theme party, and the Wednesday Zoo and Dessert Party events.
Meeting Registration
The early bird conference registration rate is $1,995 for Defense Counsel members and $850 for guests. Early bird registration ends on June 9, 2023. After that date, the rate is $2,145 for Defense Counsel members and $850 for guests.
Corporate and Industry members rate - $695 and $850 for guests
Emeritus Members and their guests rate - $800.
The registration rates for children are tiered based upon age. Children 3 and under are complimentary. Children 4 to 11 are $260, children 12 – 17 are $425, and children 18-20 are $650.
We urge you to register online promptly to guarantee your selection of afternoon activities. Visit the FDCC website for the online link.
You may also use the “hard copy” registration form which was included with this brochure or that can be downloaded from the FDCC website. Registrations that are mailed will be processed in the order that they are received, and selected activities may not be available.
If you desire child care at any other time during the convention, The Broadmoor offers the Bee Bunch Camp for children age 3 to 12, with age-appropriate activities that include outdoor lessons, arts and crafts, STEAM activities, nature walks, field trips, and more. Half-day and full-day options are available. Sitters can also be arranged for days or evenings through Broadmoor Nannies. Please note, however, that the FDCC does not warrant or certify the hotel’s childcare services or make any representations about their quality standards or fitness. Please use at your own discretion.
Registrations may also be faxed or scanned and emailed with credit card payment. Registrations cannot be processed without payment, including afternoon activities.
Convention Registration Cancellation Deadline
A refund, less applicable credit card charges, will be granted if the notice of cancellation is received by the Executive Director before June 23, 2023.
A refund of all registration fees, less $250.00, will be made if the notice of cancellation is received by the Executive Director on or after June 23, 2023, but before July 13, 2023.
A refund of all registration fees less $500.00 will be made if the notice of cancellation is received by the Executive Director on or after July 13, 2023.
Activity charges may be refunded if the Vendor refunds fees or if another member fills the spot vacated by the cancellation.
