Charm – Bumblebee
The FDCC’s First Lady has chosen
gold charms to commemorate its
meetings since 1960. This year’s
charm is the Bumblebee. The
Bumblebee found its place in the
history of The Broadmoor when the
Chairman of the hotel purchased
and re-assembled the contents of an 1800s English pub at
The Broadmoor, naming it The Golden Bee. The Golden Bee continues to delight its customers today, as the lively wait staff is known for throwing embroidered bumblebee stickers across the room and sticking them to customer’s clothes. As you walk around The Broadmoor, you will see the Bumblebee featured
in various places, along with the ornate letter “B” that also symbolizes The Broadmoor.
Charms are specially ordered so please be sure to purchase your charm when you register. We cannot guarantee charms will be available if you do not pre-purchase.
