How Should Your Strategic Planner Act and What Should She Do?
Your strategic planner is looking for patterns, for overlap, for commonality. Your strategic planner is looking for imaginative and creative ways to move the firm forward. Your strategic planner is building consensus, is building a vision and getting the buy in for that vision. In many ways, your in-house strategic planner is not all that different than a leader trying to help the firm achieve a goal or pursue its purpose.
