It is ironic that the son of a successful brigand often provided hope and inspiration
to a nation challenged by domestic strife and
to offer perspective for present
day challenges. The challenges are different but, yes, there have always been times like these. We are now into the second quarter of 2021 and Federation members should be confident that we will rise to
any challenge that lies ahead. We certainly did so in 2020. It was
a great year to be a Federation member.
2020 was a year that will not be soon forgotten and, while we
have not yet fully emerged from the pandemic, the light at the
end of the tunnel is becoming brighter. Books will be written about how the world dealt with the pandemic, and our individual stories will be told to our children and grandchildren, but Federation members should be proud of what we accomplished this year. We were unable to meet in person for our 2020 Annual Meeting and 2021 Winter meeting, but we embraced
