Course Outcomes
At the completion of this course, it is expected that you will be able
to:
Explain the importance of instructional system design in CBT
development
Identify the proper structure of lesson created for CBT
including the introduction, supporting information, the key
lesson tasks and a summary
Build CBT based on five basic content types for CBT:
procedures, concepts, factual information, processes and
principles
Apply the principles of design and integration of multimedia
elements for CBT
Identify several guidelines in CBT development
Course Load
It is a standard OUM practice that learners accumulate 40 study
hours for every credit hour. As such, for a four-credit hour course,
you are expected to spend at least 160 hours of learning. Table 1
gives an estimation of how the 160 hours could be accumulated.
