TO JUMP INTO BASKETBALL PATHWAYS
PARTICIPATION PROGRAMMING
Aussie Hoops and 3x3 Streetball Programs were held all
across the Kimberley Region during 2022 and delivered in three different formats: Association based, School based and Community Organisation based. To support this programming Basketball WA - Kimberley offered weekly Train the Trainer Mentoring sessions to all our delivery partners, to ensure they are not just qualified in program delivery but also feel competent and confident.
These sessions really gave those delivering on the ground a huge boost in confidence and improved the quality of program delivery. The resulting level of engagement from kids across the region saw attendance skyrocket reaching 4,536, which is quite simply amazing for such a remote part of Western Australia!! A big shout out must go to our key delivery partner Garnduwa for their support of this programming during 2022!
