Meet the Nominees…
Rickie Dell, Sivitz Hospice
A patient had not been able to move from
bed for a shower, and was getting bed baths.
Rickie assured her she would be safe, and the
shower improved her quality of life. Her
attitude changed. She was more open to
visits with others and slowly allowed people
into her life again. Though she had dementia,
she remembered Rickie from visit to visit.
