The Tapply-Thompson Community Center is proud to announce that one our Camp Counselors, Logan Hinton, has won first place in the NH Parks & Rec Association’s photo contest. Logan caught this amazing shot of a high-five encounter while on a field trip, as the TTCC Summer Camp was jammed packed with photo-worthy events occurring almost every day.

The Pease Public Library will host Ethical Aspects of Converging and Emerging Technologies: Some New Challenges in an Era of AI Chatbots on Wednesday, May 15th at 6PM. The presenter will be Herman Tavani. This event is sponsored by the NH Humanities and will be held in the library’s community room.
Information technology, biotechnology, and nanotech- nology have converged in ways that were not easily antici- pated. As a result, new fields of applied ethics, such as dig- ital ethics and AI ethics, have also emerged in response to the cluster of ethical problems generated by recent technolo- gies. Herman Tavani examines
a range of ethical issues – from privacy and autonomy to trust and dependency. He also con- siders the question: What does it mean to be human in an age of AI and Chatbots?
