heart’s calling. One of her biggest takeaways after putting on her first jamboree was the fact that simple random acts of kindness make a huge difference in the lives of others.
After graduating from col- lege in May of 2020, she re- turned back to NH, where she now serves as executive director of a brand new non-profit-603, United! The mission of the or- ganization is to provide social inclusion activities for adults 18 plus with and without intellectual disabilities.
Now only eight months old, this non-profit serves over 25 adults from the Franklin, Win- nisquam, Belmont, Newfound, Interlakes, Laconia, and Gil- ford school districts. Becom- ing a “Club Member” is simple and easy! Step one go to ww- w.603united.org and fill out an application, then set up a meet- ing with Cassie! The dues are $25 a month.
Once a member is approved, they can join in on the fun nu- merous times a week, from walking around the Belknap
Marketplace, playing pickup basketball at a local community center, to playing board games at their “clubhouse.” Hangout sessions range from 1-2 hours an experience.
The non-profit currently has 25 active club members, 35 vol- unteers, and dozens of ambas- sadors spreading the word about the program! If you’re inter- ested in any of these opportuni- ties, reach out to 603 United at 603.800.3225.
603 United has fantastic com- munity support and currently
raises funds through donations and fundraisers. They are cur- rently working on raising money to buy a 15-passenger van for field trips!
If you are interested in do- nating, you can make a payment at their website, mail a check to 1921 Parade Road Laconia, NH, or Venmo them @nh603united.
