Responders Together NH: Amplifying Its Reach By BRittany amalfi
Responders Together NH has been diligently implementing its outstanding programs, exem- plifying a commitment to the well-being of first responders, veterans, and their families. The dedicated team, working tire- lessly, has focused on fostering meaningful collaborations with a diverse range of businesses. Through these partnerships, the organization aims to amplify the impact of its peer-facilitated wellness programs, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the standards of high quality and support. By engaging with busi- nesses, Responders Together NH is not only expanding its reach but also tailoring its initiatives to address the unique needs of those who have dedicated their lives to public service. The orga- nization's unwavering dedication is reflected in its multifaceted approach, where diligence in program implementation and strategic collaborations intersect to create a robust and supportive environment for the responder community.
As the year comes to a close, Responders Together NH has made some excellent strides in partnering with exceptional busi- nesses. Responders Together NH is grateful to Steve Kelly and Dan Egan at Tenney Mountain. Tenney Mountain will be a com-
munity partner collaborating on a variety of peer-facilitated well- ness programs for veterans, first responders, and their families to reduce Post Traumatic Stress In- jury and suicide.
Autumn is a busy time for many organizations, and Re- sponders Together New Hamp- shire has been actively on the move. Last month, RTNH and the Wounded Warrior Project co-sponsored NEMP at Sobriety Centers of NH. On November 11th, Lakes Region Vale Tudo hosted its Peer-Facilitated Well- ness Program: Intro to Martial Arts and Tactical Defense for responders and veterans, and it went great. And now, they plan to do this program quarterly, so be on the lookout for the next date. Many programs coming up are open not only to first re- sponders and veterans but also to significant others and age-appro-
priate children.
Responders Together NH has
quite a few exciting things com- ing up in 2024, making it a year to look forward to! The main focus of their fundraising is currently their peer-facilitated wellness programs, and the excitement is building! In collaboration with Lakes Region Vale Tudo Martial Arts, Kiltler Fitness, and New England Mindfulness and Per- formance, the organization is gearing up to introduce a wide
variety of activities. From yoga sessions that promote mental and physical well-being to archery programs, the lineup is designed to cater to the varied interests and needs of those they serve. As these fantastic programs unfold, the team at RTNH has, without a doubt, ensured that the com- munity they support will have a wide variety of wonderful activ- ities to participate in throughout the year. This commitment to a vibrant well-being underscores
Responders Together NH's ded- ication to providing not just sup- port but enriching experiences for first responders, veterans, and their families.
The team at Responders To- gether New Hampshire is look- ing forward to 2024! For more information or to support their peer-facilitated wellness pro- grams, please visit www.respond- erstogethernh.org. Remember, no one fights alone.
