children to stop and take photos during the Trick or Treat Trail. The mural will be perfect for documenting those Halloween fun memories.
With spooky stations, plenty of candy, a Trunk or Treat op- tion, and a new mural to enjoy, Alexandria’s Trick or Treat Trail is shaping up to be a fun fall af- ternoon for families. It doesn’t matter if children follow the trail or make their way through the parking lot; the October 24 event will offer plenty of opportunities to dress up, grab treats, and enjoy Halloween together.
The Trick or Treat Trail is free and open to all. Those plan- ning to create a station should register with Nikki by Oct. 13.

ing their own candy station or haunted area are encouraged to participate. There is no cost to set up a station, and communi- ties from all towns are welcome to take part. Specific areas along the trail will be mowed for reg- istered participants so they can create their own spooky scenes.
Participants are asked to provide their own candy and be prepared with plenty! Trucks and cars can be used while setting up a station, but vehicles must be removed from the field once the area is ready for visitors.
Anyone interested in set- ting up a station should register by Oct. 13 by calling or texting Nikki at (603) 631-2213. When registering, participants should also provide a general idea of how much space they will need so the appropriate area can be mowed.
The trail will end with a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot for those who don’t wish to walk the trail, so there is something for

There is one important re-
quest for attendees: No dogs will be allowed at the event. There is no doubt that pets are certainly part of many families; organizers are asking visitors to leave dogs at home out of consideration for young children who may be frightened by them. Anyone who arrives with a dog may be asked to bring the animal home. And sometimes, dogs and costumes don’t mix!
But wait, there’s more! Par- ticipants will be able to take photos in front of a new Hallow- een mural created by local artist Annora Conway. The gorgeous artwork will be a perfectly fes- tive backdrop for families and
