NIGHT OUT
Join the community for a night out to celebrate all of the local people, orga- nizations, and nonprofits that make the Newfound Lake area a special place to live. From 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm, there will be live music, a free BBQ dinner (donated by Main Street Station and Hannaford Bristol), and a fun climbing wall. When is the first day of summer? In 2025, the official first day of summer is Friday, June 20th. This date marks the longest day of the year. Take a hike at the Slim Baker Area. Share what you find with us at info@slimbaker.org! We can’t wait to see what you find!
This is a self-guided event that you can take place anywhere in the Newfound Area or come up to the Slim Baker Area to explore our diverse trails!

Join NH Audubon and NLRA for a birding walk at the Hebron Town For- est as we identify birds by sight and sound. You will learn to identify res- ident species as they establish their summer territories as well as migratory birds passing through. Along the way, you’ll also learn more about bird con- servation efforts in New Hampshire. This event is perfect for anyone inter- ested in exploring the natural world. Participants should be comfortable walking 2 miles. This program is free and open to all.
