June 2025
Three members of the 2025 graduating class presented to the Newfound Area School Board to summarize their senior projects. Peter Wade presented about his thesis regarding video game design as an art form, Kinsey Boardman presented about her project on teen addiction to screens, and Josie Halle pre- sented on flowers and their con-
nection to history and culture. These projects exemplify the projects' wide-ranging topics and the students' interests and passions. "Senior Project is more than a capstone experience or graduation requirement. It's a great opportunity for students to explore a topic they are pas- sionate about, become experts on that topic, and then share

that passion with others. It's the ultimate personalization of learning," states Newfound Su- perintendent Paul Hoiriis.
Thank you to all three for pre- senting to the school board!
