The company’s founders, An- gela and Bob Lima, started In 4/4 Time Entertainment with one goal in mind: to elevate special events through music that connects with people. For the past six years, they have been bringing people together through karaoke at the Grotto in Plymouth. “We survived the pan- demic and were in full swing until an unexpected turn of events.”
In 2022, Angie was diagnosed with breast cancer and spent the next 18 months undergoing treat- ment. However, her love of kara- oke and the Grotto family kept her motivated to continue running Karaoke through that time. “In all honesty, it was the one thing I looked forward to every week. I didn’t feel like a cancer patient, just a Karaoke DJ.” By the end of treat- ment, she found herself re-evalu- ating everything—especially her high-stress day job. Karaoke had always been a fun and exciting part
of her week, a space where she could laugh, sing, and connect all through music.
Angie runs the karaoke nights, handling the music and ensuring everything runs smoothly. She’s the one behind the mic, helping peo- ple feel excited and connected and keeping the night fun. Her husband Bob takes care of the crowd, talks to people, answers questions, and helps spread the word about In 4/4 Time Entertainment. He focuses on building connections and mak- ing sure everyone feels welcome. Together, they make a strong team, each playing their part to make the events successful. You can find In 4/4 Time Entertainment at The Grotto in Plymouth on Thurs- days, The Poor House Bar-B-Q in Canaan on Fridays, and The Tap Public House Inc. in Belmont on Saturday nights.

In 4/4 Time Entertainment of- fers a wedding reception package that helps couples enjoy their day without the stress. DJ Angie meets with each couple ahead of time to talk about the vibe they want, choose songs for special dances, and plan out the timeline. On the big day, she provides up to four hours of music—from background songs as guests arrive to fun dance music later in the night. The pack- age also includes music for special moments like the cake cutting and bouquet toss. Angie also takes care
