A Newfound Spa, located at 861 Lake Street in Bristol, is about to celebrate its fifth birthday in 2025! While many remember 2020 as an incredibly challenging year, Stacie and Katie will always recall it as the year they launched their transformative small busi- ness—A Newfound Spa. Just as Stacie Barnard and Katie Rob- bins cherish this milestone, the Newfound community will re- member it, too.
The official opening date for A Newfound Spa was August 3rd, 2020. It is owned and op- erated by Stacie and Katie, two seasoned estheticians who met while working together at a pre- vious establishment. Like many work colleagues, these two hit it off and became fast friends. While getting to know each other, they dabbled with the idea of becom- ing business partners, and when COVID-19 hit, they got the push they needed to make that dream a reality.
“It was quite risky and incred- ibly scary,” said A Newfound Spa co-owner, Stacie. “But once the website was up and running, we were booked up.” It was the start of a brand new commu- nity staple in Newfound, where people quickly learned that they had a new place centered around rest—a couple of things everyone needed during the pandemic.
Stacie, an esthetician for about twenty years, and Katie, an esthe- tician for almost ten years, were blown away by the response they received from the Newfound community about their little business. “The best part about A Newfound Spa is being a part of this lovely community,” Stacie said. “With that small-town feel, we have a loyal clientele, and they became family. I just had a client ask me how my daughter was doing the other day!” Stacie also emphasized that “it makes us feel good to make others feel good.” It’s evident that people come to A Newfound Spa to find a peaceful outlet where they can escape the chaos of everyday life, but this particular spa comes with a little something extra—a strong com- munity connection.

Recently, A Newfound Spa did a hurricane relief donation program, and they were over- whelmed with the community’s response. “We were able to fill my husband’s entire trailer with the donations,” Barnard said.
A Newfound Spa offers a wide range of services, from massages to facial treatments to nail care, waxing, and so much more. They also love to host birthday parties for kids and adults and provide services for wedding parties, so parties are free to book the entire spa.
When asked about future plans for A Newfound Spa, Sta- cie didn’t veer from the fact that they just want to continue doing what they both love: making peo- ple feel better. “We really are just taking it day by day. I would love to expand to a second location or add new services, but I’m just really excited to see what another five years looks like for us.”
Stacie and Katie would love to thank the Newfound Community for being so supportive of them. “Thank you so much for being so loyal to us. We absolutely love our clients, and we wouldn’t change it for the world.”

iday party on December 6th! Last year, it was known as the
“Blitzen Ball,” which turned out to be not only a huge success but also a fun-filled event. This year, their holiday party will have a gift card promotion where peo- ple can buy gift cards and receive money back. For example, if one buys a $50 gift card, they will re- ceive $10 back. If they buy $100 worth, they will get $20 back, and it keeps on going. And no party is complete without refreshments
