Rev Up Your Engines: Bridgewater's Antique and Classic Car Parade
Experience Bridgewater, NH's Antique Car Show, set against a peaceful lawn and pond back- drop. Join them from 10 AM to 2 PM for classic cars, raffles, games, live music, and an auc- tion benefiting the NH Humane Society. Take a scenic lake loop and enjoy a day of nostalgia and support for a good cause! Parade cars assemble by year at 305 Whittemore Point Rd North, Bridgewater.
Anne Bryan, the founder of the car parade, has been put- ting hard work into this event for quite a few years. “People really just love this event,” Bryan told me. “It’s a great atmosphere, and it’s really fun for families. Pedes- trians can just sit back and enjoy the parade, and car owners can show off their cars!” A couple of years ago, the parade totaled 98 cars, each unique and fascinating. Over the years, they have seen anywhere between 80 and 100 vehicles, each with its own story, for people’s viewing pleasure.
The owners of these incredi- ble cars can park, walk around, and mingle with other owners as
they take in the sights all of those hot rods have to offer. Anne in- formed me that she provides lunch to the car owners and that
there’s water and chairs for them, as well as some potential live en- tertainment this year! With ap- proximately 80-100 cars, the

sights are practically limitless for these lucky car owners!
“I love this event because it adds to the fact that people don’t have to leave the lake for yet an- other fun event,” Bryan beamed. Newfound Lake is known for having plenty of great activities for everyone, and the car parade is just another one to add to the fun! Hopefully, it will be a “top- down” kind of day on August
6th as these classic and antique cars make their way around the lake. There are plenty of spots around the lake to sit back, relax, and enjoy this fantastic parade of exceptional cars. And, of course, don’t forget to wave!
