BRIDGEWATER – Join the Newfound Lake Region Associ- ation (NLRA) at the Newfound Lake Inn on Wednesday, June 12th at 5pm for Newfound Sci- ence Pub, an engaging way to connect with experts in science and conservation - over food and drinks. Amy Smagula of NH Department of Environmental Services, Squam Lakes Associa- tion Direction of Conservation Cole Beale, and audience mem- bers will share their perspectives on aquatic invasive species, get an overview of current condi- tions regarding aquatic inva- sives in NH, and explore the challenges created for a healthy watershed when these species appear. This event is free; attendees arrive around 5pm to purchase food and drinks, and the conversation begins at 6pm. Registration is re- quired. Register by visiting New- foundLake.org/events or calling

The Parillo family announces with great sorrow the loss of Genevieve Marie "Jeanie" Parillo, who was called to the Lord on May 4th, 2024, in Bristol, New Hampshire. Raised in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, Jeanie lived a life of unwavering love and devotion to her family and friends.
Preceding her in death were Jeanie’s parents, Frederick and Marie Bostrom. A cherished matriarch, Jeanie is survived by her adoring husband, Charles Parillo. Her legacy of love con- tinues through her children, Jef- frey Parillo and his loving partner Lisa Elliott of Attleboro, MA, and Charles Parillo Jr. along with his wife Jill of Bristol, NH.
