Minot-Sleeper Library Invite You to the Open House April 11th
We would like to invite you to an Open House on Saturday, April 11th, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Friends’ activities, enjoy delicious baked treats, and enter for a chance to win a library tote bag full of goodies.
The Minot-Sleeper Li- brary has become a vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike, thanks to a friendly, knowledgeable staff and di- verse programming for all ages. You can find a full listing of the current programs at minotsleeperlibrary.org.
Additionally, the current "Dine Out" for the library fundraiser still has dates avail- able on the calendar for April. For more details on how to participate, please visit the Friends page at minotsleeper- library.org, stop by the library, or attend the Open House on Saturday, April 11th.

New Hampton Garden Club
Container Gardening Talk and Demonstration
Both Garden Clubs welcome all to join our first event of the year. During this presentation and demonstration, attendees will learn the benefits and draw- backs of gardening in containers. The program will address using different types of containers and how to select the proper size and type for various situations as well as the proper way to assemble a container garden, and the var- ious factors to consider (such as environment, plant types, design characteristics, etc.). The proper care and maintenance of con- tainer gardens will also be ad- dressed. In addition, learn how to troubleshoot and solve pest problems and diseases.
Ruth Droescher is an Ad- vanced Master Gardener with the University of New Hamp- shire Extension. She has also completed the Extension’s Natu- ral Resources Stewards program

Tuesday, April 21, 6-7:30 pm Minot Sleeper Library Open to all: No fee
and is also a presenter for their “Speaking for Wildlife” pro-
gram. She has gardened in New England since childhood and in New Hampshire for over 24 years. Her yard is registered with the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat and also certified as a Mon- arch Waystation by Monarch Watch. She works at her local garden center in Henniker and as a Landscape Designer and an Herbalist Education Advisor.
Pasquaney Garden Club is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organiza- tion. Our Annual Plant sale will be Saturday, June 6, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., behind the Minot Sleeper Library. We are actively seek- ing new members. Fees are $15 a year. All are welcome to our workdays in the Butterfly Garden as well as meetings and presenta- tions.
